Independence Day Closure and Trash Schedule

City Hall will be closed Monday, July 3, 2023 and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. City departments will be off on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of Independence Day. In case of emergency with any City service, please call the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500, and they will get in touch with the department supervisor.
Sharp's Disposal will NOT be picking up trash on Monday, July 4, 2023. For Portageville customers on Monday's route, your trash will need to be set out on Tuesday (July 4, 2023) night after 7:00 p.m. for pickup on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Wednesday's Dumpster Route will be picked up on Thursday, July 6, 2023. There will be NO CHANGE to Friday's route, so please set your trash out on Thursday (July 6, 2023) after 7:00 p.m. as normal for pickup on Friday, July 7, 2023.
