In the next few days, residents of Portageville should receive a letter from Bootheel Regional Planning Commission asking them to complete a survey by phone, tablet or computer. It is extremely important for our community that you take the time to complete the survey. The numbers this survey will generate can impact the City's ability to secure state and federal funding to help with various projects in the future. Thank you for your participation!

Discontinuation of 30 Yard Dumpster at Street Shed

Public Notice:
The Portageville Board of Aldermen voted to discontinue the large dumpster previously located at the Street Shed. There will still be a Spring Clean Up Week and Fall Clean Up Week where items other than household trash will be picked up.
If you have large items that need to be removed at any time other than the scheduled Clean Up weeks, you will need to contact Sharp's Disposal at 573-344-0514 for a price quote and schedule a special pick up.

December 5th Meeting Postponed

The Board of Aldermen Building Commission Public Hearing and Monthly Meeting scheduled for Monday, December 5, 2022, have been postponed to Thursday, December 8, 2022, due to not having a quorum. The Building Commission Public Hearing will be held at 5:45 p.m. followed by the regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m.
