The City of Portageville Board of Aldermen would like to thank John Harris, Representative Donnie Brown, New Madrid County Highway Department, and New Madrid Commissioners: Mark Baker, Bobby Aycock and Mike Kellams for their work on improving the drainage situation along Highway 162 West in Portageville.
Thank you for helping alleviate some of the drainage issues our citizens were facing by digging out ditches and replacing culverts. We appreciate your continued commitment to our community!

Independence Day Closure and Trash Schedule

City Hall will be closed Monday, July 3, 2023 and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. City departments will be off on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of Independence Day. In case of emergency with any City service, please call the Portageville Police Department at 573-379-5500, and they will get in touch with the department supervisor.

36" HDPE Pipe For Sale

The City of Portageville Board of Aldermen have 9 sticks of unused 36" HDPE 20' Pipe remaining from the McCrate Drainage Ditch project. The Board voted to sale the unused pipe at cost which is $960.00 per stick ($48.00 per foot). This is an as-is /no warranty sale. All sales are final. No holds. Buyer is responsible for all aspects of pickup. Item must be picked up within one week of sale.
